Summit of the Sages is the seventh world in Vexx. It requires 34 Wraithhearts to unlock and contains 8 obtainable hearts. Technically, there is a 9th Heart, but it can only be accessed through Tempest Peak Manor. In fact, Summit of the Sages can be accessed early through Tempest Peak Manor, although Vexx will be restricted to a small cage.

Similar to Timberdale, it consists of a forest theme, with its day theme song being a remix of Timberdale's, while it uses the same night theme song as Tempest Peak Manor. Summit of the Sages is also the final world where the Inner Demon Games appear.

The Heads[]

True to its name, Summit of the Sages features three anonymous heads composed out of stone upon a massive peak of a mountain.

At first nothing but a cluster of rocks that need to be blasted by hopping on three buttons, the left head features Vexx and a mysterious waterfall of quicksand. This area contains two Wraithhearts. Beneath the mountain are a series of submerged statues within a lake that is fed by a waterfall.

The middle head might have been a man famous for inventing machines and other mechanisms for Astara and contains two Wraithhearts.

The right head may be a representation of a man who had an obsession with water and contains one Wraithheart.

Trivia[]

  • The game can be soft-locked inside the cube containing the seventh Wraithheart inside of the left statue head. If the player long-jumps off one of the floating circular platforms, activates Fury Mode, and immediately does a high-jump, Vexx will take fall damage while the cube is rising, pushing him into the Wraithheart. The animation will play, however, Vexx will be invisible, and after a loading screen, he will reappear but the Wraithheart will disappear, effectively soft-locking the game. There is nothing the player can do besides move the camera, as the Pause menu can't be activated during a Wraithheart acquiring animation. The player will need to reset or turn off their console in order to end the soft-lock. For the glitch in action, see here.
    • It is possible to obtain the Wraithheart using the above steps. However, if missed, this soft-lock will occur instead.
