Blast Bug

Beware these scurrying insects that seem to have benefited from some very strange mutations over the past 700 years. No one is sure why, but they generate electric beams from their antennae. Stay away from the beams because the result can be devastating. Another head's up, they like to travel in pairs so they can bridge their beams. Sometimes you'll find them in small packs. Blast Bugs as they appear on the floor of Tempest Peak Manor.

Blast Bugs are mutated beetle-like enemies that can shoot electricity from their antennae. They often travel in packs of two or three. They make a loud insect-like noise when approaching them. They chase after Vexx and attempt to surround him in a triangle of electricity if there are multiple Blast Bugs. They will temporarily paralyze Vexx and throw him a short distance. They appear on the floor of Tempest Peak Manor and within the Citadel of Shadows.

Appearance

Blast Bugs appear as light-blue beetles with crab-like claws and legs. They have three black eyes and two long antennae with white tips that act similarly to electric poles. They have white stripes on the shells of their backs.
